Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi / Masai Mara

Embark on a morning journey from your Nairobi hotel or the airport to the iconic Masai Mara, a scenic drive spanning approximately 5 hours. Along the way, marvel at the breathtaking sights of the Great African Rift Valley escarpment and pass through the renowned Masai Town Narok. Arriving at Masai Mara around lunchtime, you’ll be welcomed into the captivating wilderness. Check-in at your chosen accommodation—Ashnil Mara Camp, Sarova Mara Game Camp, or Mara Serena Safari Lodge—and enjoy a delicious lunch. Following a brief respite, immerse yourself in an exhilarating afternoon game drive, traversing the park’s vast expanses in search of the majestic Lion, agile Cheetah, towering Elephant, formidable Buffalo, and other members of the Big Five, as well as a myriad of other fascinating wildlife species. Conclude the day’s adventures with a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your selected camp or lodge in the heart of Masai Mara.

Day 2Masai Mara full day

Commence your day with an early 6:00 AM game drive, immersing yourself in the enchanting wilderness of Masai Mara as the sun rises. Upon your return to camp, relish a hearty breakfast to fuel your day’s adventures. Embark on a full-day exploration of the park, equipped with a packed lunch, in search of its iconic residents. The Masai Mara plains teem with life, from the majestic wildebeest during migration season (early July to end of September) to the graceful zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, and Thomson’s gazelle. Keep a keen eye out for elusive predators such as leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. While spotting the elusive black rhino may require luck and patience, sightings are possible from a distance. Marvel at the abundance of hippos and massive Nile crocodiles along the Mara River, a picturesque setting perfect for observing these creatures, perhaps even taking a guided walk with a Ranger for a closer look. Conclude your day with delectable meals and a comfortable overnight stay at Ashnil Mara Camp, Sarova Mara Game Camp, or Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3Masai Mara – Serengeti

Begin your day with an early breakfast at your camp before checking out and collecting your packed lunch. Embark on a scenic 3-hour journey to the Isebania Tanzania border, arriving around 10:45 AM. Expect the visa processing and crossing into Tanzania to take approximately 45 minutes or more. Afterward, continue your adventure to Serengeti, a captivating 3-hour drive to the main gate, accompanied by our experienced Tanzania driver guide. Along the way, enjoy an en-route game drive, marveling at the diverse wildlife of Serengeti. Upon arrival, settle into your chosen lodge or camp, such as Serengeti Sound of Silence Camp, Serengeti Sound of Nature Camp, or Serengeti Little Moru Camp, and indulge in a delicious dinner. Prepare for a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the untamed beauty of Serengeti.

Day 4Serengeti Full day

Start your day with an early breakfast at your lodge, preparing for an exciting adventure ahead. After breakfast, check out with your packed lunch and embark on a full-day game drive in Serengeti, renowned as Tanzania’s premier national park. Throughout the year, Serengeti boasts large herds of buffaloes, as well as smaller groups of elephants and giraffes. You’ll also encounter millions of antelopes, including elands, topis, impalas, kongoni, and Grant’s gazelles. With luck on your side, you may spot the park’s iconic big cats—lions, cheetahs, and leopards—either enjoying a kill or resting in their natural habitat. Keep your eyes peeled for cheetahs in the southeastern plains and leopards resting in the giant trees along the riverbanks. After an exhilarating game drive, return to your chosen accommodation, such as Serengeti Sound of Silence Camp, Serengeti Sound of Nature Camp, or Serengeti Little Moru Camp, for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of Serengeti.

Day 5Serengeti – Ngoro Ngoro Crater

Begin your day with an early morning breakfast at your accommodation, gearing up for a memorable journey ahead. After breakfast, check out with your packed lunch as you prepare for a scenic drive to Ngorongoro, which takes approximately three hours to reach the Main gate. Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera, boasts an impressive ecosystem that supports a diverse range of wildlife, from majestic lions to the rare and magnificent horned rhinos. The crater itself plunges 600 meters deep, while its floor spans 20 kilometers in diameter, featuring a rich variety of wildlife, serene ponds, and picturesque pools. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater is often hailed as the “8th wonder of the world” for its awe-inspiring beauty and ecological significance. After your drive, arrive at your lodge, Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, surrounded by breathtaking views of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 6Ngorongoro – Kenya Amboseli

Commence your day with an early morning breakfast, energizing yourself for the adventures that lie ahead. After breakfast, check out from your accommodation, ensuring you have your packed lunch ready for the journey. Embark on a scenic drive to the Kenya border at Namanga, a captivating journey that spans approximately four hours. Upon reaching the border around 13:00hrs, allocate approximately 45 minutes for the visa processing and crossing into Kenya. Following lunch, continue your expedition towards Amboseli National Park, renowned for its breathtaking scenery accentuated by the iconic backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, a sight that dominates the landscape alongside vast open plains. Upon arrival, engage in an invigorating afternoon game drive within the park, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and diverse wildlife that call Amboseli home. Later, journey to your chosen accommodation, either OlTukai Lodge or Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, where you’ll indulge in a delicious dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay, surrounded by the serene ambiance of Amboseli.

Day 7Amboseli – Nairobi

Begin your day with an exhilarating early morning game drive, setting out at 06:15am to explore the wonders of the wildlife-rich landscape. After the game drive, pause to indulge in a hearty breakfast, replenishing your energy for the day ahead. Following breakfast, check out from your accommodation as you prepare for more adventure. Embark on another thrilling game drive, with a special visit to Observation Hill, formerly known as Poachers Hill, a notable attraction nestled in the heart of the park. From this vantage point, you’ll enjoy a panoramic 360-degree aerial view of the entire park, offering a unique perspective of its natural beauty and diverse ecosystems. Around 13:00hrs, depart for Nairobi, with lunch served en route. Expect to arrive in Nairobi around 5 pm, where you’ll be dropped off at Nairobi Airport or your preferred location, as per your request.
