Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Entebbe Airport Transfer to Your hotel

Upon your arrival, our company representative will extend a warm welcome to you. Following that, you’ll receive a briefing about your safari. Depending on your flight arrival time, you’ll have the option to embark on a city tour or take the opportunity to relax and recuperate after your long flight hours. Your accommodation for the night will be at Kabira Country Club, with bed and breakfast included.
 

Day 2Kampala- Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Depart from Kampala after enjoying an early morning breakfast, embarking on a scenic journey to Bwindi, located in Southwestern Uganda, renowned as the habitat of the rare mountain gorillas. The drive, spanning 7 to 8 hours, offers captivating vistas, transitioning from flat lands to rolling, steep hills, truly a breathtaking experience. Pause for lunch en-route in Mbarara before continuing your journey to Bwindi, arriving in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, settle into your chosen lodge, each offering a unique perspective and ambiance, allowing you to immerse yourself in the park’s surroundings, accompanied by the soothing sounds of flowing water and the vibrant melodies of forest birds. Indulge in a delightful dinner and spend the Overnight at Engagi Lodge.
 

Day 3Gorilla Trekking Full day

After savoring your breakfast, prepare to depart from your lodge, equipped with a packed lunch, as you make your way to the park headquarters at 7 am for a comprehensive briefing before commencing your gorilla tracking adventure in the misty depths of Bwindi forest. The tracking experience is unpredictable, largely influenced by the movements of the gorilla groups. Trekkers are granted the privilege of spending one hour in the presence of these gentle giants, observing their playful antics, feeding habits, and capturing memorable photographs. Following your encounter, return to the lodge to unwind and take advantage of its facilities until dinner time, indulging in relaxation before retiring for the Overnight at Engagi Lodge.
 

Day 4Bwindi Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and ensure you’re packed with a hearty packed lunch as you check out. Embark on a scenic drive with an en-route game drive, immersing yourself in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Upon completion, continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll arrive in time for a short game drive within the park’s confines. Choose from a selection of lodges, each offering a unique perspective and ambiance, allowing you to bask in the sights and sounds of the park, including the gentle flow of water and the harmonious melodies of forest birds. Delight in a satisfying dinner and spend the Overnight at ENJOJO LODGE
 

Day 5Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala Entebbe Airport

Begin your day with an early breakfast and prepare to depart, ensuring you have packed lunches ready as you journey back to Kampala. However, before bidding farewell to the enchanting Queen Elizabeth National Park, you have the opportunity to partake in one of the following morning activities. Choose between a serene forest walk in Maramagambo, renowned for its Blue Lake, unique trees, and intriguing Bat Caves, or embark on a thrilling chimpanzee trek in the captivating Kyambura Gorge. Kyambura Gorge offers breathtaking views and the chance to encounter wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat within the Kyambura Wildlife Reserve. Please note that the chimpanzee trek option in Kyambura Wildlife Reserve may incur an additional fee. After enjoying your chosen activity, begin your journey back to Kampala, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. You will be dropped off at either the airport or your preferred hotel, concluding your memorable safari experience.
