Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi / Masai Mara

Embark on an early morning journey from your Nairobi hotel or the airport to Masai Mara, a scenic 5-hour drive that offers stunning vistas of the Great African Rift Valley escarpment and the iconic Masai Town Narok. Arriving around lunchtime, settle in at your chosen accommodation—Ashnil Mara Camp, Sarova Mara Game Camp, or Mara Serena Safari Lodge—and enjoy a hearty lunch. In the afternoon, venture into the park for an exhilarating game drive, where you’ll have the chance to encounter the majestic Lion, agile Cheetah, towering Elephant, formidable Buffalo, and other members of the Big Five, along with an array of other fascinating wildlife species. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2Masai Mara full day

Start your day with an early morning game drive at 6:15 am, immersing yourself in the beauty of Masai Mara’s wildlife. After the exhilarating drive, return to your camp for a hearty breakfast. Then, embark on a full-day exploration of the park, equipped with packed lunches, as you search for its famous residents. Witness the spectacular wildebeest migration, which occurs from early July to the end of September, and spot other animals such as zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, and Thomson’s gazelles. Keep an eye out for predators like leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes, while also seeking elusive black rhinos, known for their shy nature. Marvel at the abundance of hippos and Nile crocodiles in the Mara River, and consider joining a ranger-guided walk for a closer look. Conclude your adventurous day with a delicious meal and a comfortable overnight stay at Ashnil Mara Camp, Sarova Mara Game Camp, or Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3Masai Mara – Serengeti

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your camp, then check out, ensuring you have packed lunch with you. Embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to the Isebania Tanzania border, where you are expected to arrive around 10:45 am. The visa processing and crossing into Tanzania typically take about 45 minutes or more. Once across the border, continue your journey to Serengeti, a captivating 3-hour drive to the Main gate, accompanied by our experienced Tanzania driver guide. Enjoy an en-route game drive in Serengeti as you make your way to your lodge or camp. Finally, conclude your day with a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay at Serengeti Sound of Silence Camp, Serengeti Sound of Nature Camp, or Serengeti Little Moru Camp.

Day 4 Serengeti Full day

Begin your day with a satisfying breakfast at your lodge, then check out, ensuring you have packed lunch for a full day of game driving ahead. Serengeti National Park stands as Tanzania’s premier wildlife sanctuary, offering captivating sights throughout the year. Witness vast herds of buffaloes, along with smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, among millions of antelopes like elands, topi, impalas, kongoni, and Grant’s gazelles. Keep an eye out for the renowned big cats; lions are often spotted either hunting or lounging, while cheetahs may grace the southeastern plains, and leopards may rest in the towering trees along the riverbanks. After an exhilarating game drive, return to your camp for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at Serengeti Sound of Silence Camp, Serengeti Sound of Nature Camp, or Serengeti Little Moru Camp.

Day 5Serengeti – Ngoro Ngoro Crater

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your accommodation, followed by checking out with packed lunch as you prepare for the next leg of your journey. Embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to the main gate of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Crater, a colossal volcanic caldera, boasts an impressive ecosystem that provides a haven for a diverse array of wildlife, from majestic lions to the elusive black rhinos with their distinctive horns. Plummeting 600 meters to the crater floor, which spans a diameter of 20 kilometers, the crater harbors a rich tapestry of wildlife, including various species of animals, as well as picturesque ponds and pools. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater is often hailed as the “8th wonder of the world” for its breathtaking beauty and ecological significance. After the drive, settle into your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, offering stunning vistas of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 6Ngoro Ngoro – Nairobi

Begin your day with an early morning breakfast at your lodge, preparing to check out and depart for your next destination. With packed lunch in hand, embark on a scenic journey from Ngorongoro towards the Kenya-Tanzania border at Namanga, a drive of less than 5 hours. Upon reaching the border, expect the visa processing to take approximately 45 minutes. By noon, around 13:00 hrs, enjoy your lunch at the border before continuing your journey. Set off for Nairobi, a 3-hour drive away, where you can anticipate arriving around 5 pm. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Nairobi Airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
