Our guide will be waiting to greet you upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport. You’ll be picked up and taken to your hotel near the airport, where you’ll spend the night to rest before your long journey. depending on your arrival time, Overnight at Kabira Country Club, with bed and breakfast included.
Begin your journey to Bwindi early in the morning, as the drive typically takes about 8 hours or more from Kampala. Along the way, take a break at the Uganda Equator for a chance to stretch your legs and witness the Uganda Equator water experiment. You’ll also have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs. Afterward, continue your journey, stopping for lunch en route. As you travel, you’ll pass through the scenic landscapes often referred to as the Switzerland of Africa, with roads winding through hills and valleys, and distant views of volcanoes. Arrive in Bwindi late afternoon and check in to your accommodation. If time allows, consider joining a guided nature walk in the dense forest, teeming with birds, butterflies, and monkeys. Alternatively, take a short stroll around the lodge grounds indulge in a delightful dinner and spend the Overnight at Engagi Lodge.
