Begin your Kenyan adventure with a morning pick-up from Nairobi and embark on a scenic 6-hour drive to Tsavo West National Park, enjoying a brief game drive en route. Check in to your luxurious lodge (Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge or Severin Safari Camp, or similar) for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on your first thrilling game drive in Tsavo West, renowned for its diverse wildlife including elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, and a variety of birdlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Fuel up with an early morning breakfast before embarking on your first game drive of the day. This adventure takes you to the captivating Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water gushes from volcanic rock, creating a haven for hippos, fish, and with a chance of spotting crocodiles and monkeys. Continue your exploration towards the Shetani lava flows, remnants of a fiery past. Return to your lodge (Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, Severin Safari Camp, or similar) for a hot lunch and a relaxing break. In the afternoon, gear up for another exciting game drive, venturing towards the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive black rhino and a variety of other wildlife. As the day winds down, return to your lodge, enjoying the sight of elephants, buffaloes, and other plains game gathering at the waterhole.
Savor an early breakfast and embark on a thrilling morning game drive as you depart Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive towards Amboseli National Park, with a brief game drive along the way to keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. Upon arrival in Amboseli, check in to your comfortable accommodation, either Ol Tukai Lodge or Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge (or similar), and savor a delicious lunch followed by a relaxing break. In the afternoon, venture out on a captivating game drive, searching for Amboseli’s renowned inhabitants. Spot the “Big Cats” – lions, cheetahs, and leopards – alongside their prey like zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and hippos, all with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro potentially gracing the backdrop. Return to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay, ready to explore further wonders tomorrow.
Rise with the sun for an invigorating 6:00 am game drive in Amboseli, followed by a satisfying breakfast. Choose your adventure: embark on a full-day exploration with a packed lunch, venturing deeper into the park in search of predators and prey with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro potentially gracing the backdrop, or opt for two thrilling game drives, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, for even more wildlife encounters. In either case, return to your lodge (Ol Tukai Lodge, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, or similar) for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Enjoy a farewell breakfast at Amboseli and embark on a final short game drive as you depart. Relax on a scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch. For midday departures, savor a celebratory lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant (included) before being dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport between 3:00 and 4:00 pm. Evening flight holders can request an extended option with an additional game drive until midday, lunch on the way back, and a 5:00 to 6:00 pm arrival in Nairobi with a hotel or airport drop-off, concluding your unforgettable Kenyan adventure.
