Enjoy an orientation walk of Zurich’s OLD TOWN, Switzerland’s center of banking and commerce. Then, leave Zurich and start your Swiss adventure. You’ll quickly discover that Switzerland isn’t just home to the Alps, but also to some of the most beautiful lakes. First, stop at the foot of the Jura Mountains in the picturesque town of Biel, known as Bienne by French-speaking Swiss, famous for watch-making, and explore the historical center. Next, enjoy a scenic drive to lakeside Neuchâtel, dominated by the medieval cathedral and castle. Time to stroll along the lake promenade before continuing to stunning Geneva, the second-largest city in Switzerland, with its fantastic lakeside location and breathtaking panoramas of the Alps.
Start with an early morning game drive and return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, spend a full day in the park with a packed lunch, searching for its popular residents. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during the migration season from early July to the end of September. Regular sightings include zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, and Thomson’s gazelles, as well as leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a bit shy and hard to spot but can often be seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River, along with very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Later, enjoy meals and an overnight stay at Entim Luxury Camp or Ilkeliani Luxury Camp.
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your camp before checking out and transferring to Keekorok Airstrip to catch your 8:00 AM flight to Serengeti. Throughout the year, you can see large herds of buffalo, smaller herds of elephants, and giraffes, as well as millions of antelopes including elands, topi, impalas, kongoni, and Grant’s gazelles. If you’re lucky, you will easily spot the three big cats. Lions are often seen enjoying a kill or resting. In the southeastern plains, cheetahs can regularly be spotted if you’re fortunate, while leopards may be seen resting in the giant trees along the riverbanks. After the game drive, return for dinner and an overnight stay at Meliá Serengeti Lodge, a member of the Meliá Collection.

Continue with a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, a huge volcanic caldera hosting an impressive ecosystem ideal for the survival and preservation of a diverse range of animals, from lions to the rare large horned rhinos. The crater, 600 meters deep and 20 kilometers in diameter, is filled with a variety of wildlife, ponds, and pools. Recognized as a World Heritage site, Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. After the game drive, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Lodge, Meliá Collection.
