Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport in the morning and embark on a five-hour drive to the main gate of Masai Mara, passing through the Great African Rift Valley escarpment and the famous Masai town, Narok. Upon arrival, check in at Entim Luxury Camp or Ilkeliani Luxury Camp and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive through the park in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and other members of the Big Five, as well as a variety of other animals. First, stop at the foot of the Jura Mountains in the picturesque town of Biel, known as Bienne by French-speaking Swiss, famous for watch-making, and explore the historical center. Next, enjoy a scenic drive to lakeside Neuchâtel, dominated by the medieval cathedral and castle. Time to stroll along the lake promenade before continuing to stunning Geneva, the second-largest city in Switzerland, with its fantastic lakeside location and breathtaking panoramas of the Alps.

Start with an early morning game drive and return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, spend a full day in the park with a packed lunch, searching for its popular residents. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during the migration season from early July to the end of September. Regular sightings include zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, and Thomson’s gazelles, as well as leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a bit shy and hard to spot but can often be seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River, along with very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Fly to Tarime town, which is bordered from the north to the east by Masai Mara, arriving at 10:00 AM. Then, connect to Serengeti, arriving at 12:00 PM, where you will meet your driver guide for a briefing. Proceed to your camp or lodge for a hot lunch and a short rest. Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, check out with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive. Serengeti is undoubtedly the finest national park in Tanzania. Throughout the year, you can see large herds of buffalo, smaller herds of elephants, and giraffes, as well as millions of antelopes including elands, topi, impalas, kongoni, and Grant’s gazelles. If you’re lucky, you will easily spot the three big cats. Lions are often seen enjoying a kill or resting. In the southeastern plains, cheetahs can regularly be spotted if you’re fortunate, while leopards may be seen resting in the giant trees along the riverbanks. The crater, 600 meters deep and 20 kilometers in diameter, is filled with a variety of wildlife, ponds, and pools. After breakfast, check out with a packed lunch and drive to Mto Wa Mbu, one of the few areas in Tanzania where people from all 120 tribes coexist, making it a true cultural melting pot. Later, drive to Arusha with views of Lake Manyara along the way. Upon arrival in Arusha, check in for dinner and an overnight stay at Gran Melia Arusha.

Wake up very early to catch your flight to Zimbabwe at 5:00 am. Transfer to Nairobi Airport and fly to Zimbabwe, arriving at Victoria Falls Airport at 12:40 pm. Meet your driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel. Check in at Ilala Lodge Hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon, you can rest at your hotel, which is geographically the closest hotel to Victoria Falls. It’s only an 8-minute walk from the hotel lobby to the entry gate of the Falls. Experience the romance of Zambezi River cruises at sunset, the appeal of the great outdoors, the sight of a moonbow above the Falls, or take a 12-15 minute scenic helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls.
