  • High Season: July 1st – September 31st, 2024 & December 23rd, 2024 – January 1st, 2025
  • Mid Season: January 2nd – March 31st, 2024 & October 1st – December 22nd, 2024
  • Low Season: April 1st – June 30th, 2024

Pricing information for private safaris can be provided upon request. We offer options for couples, families, and groups, as well as solo travelers.

  • Personal Expenses: Tips, laundry, phone calls, and other items of a personal nature are at your own cost.
  • Flights: International and domestic flights (unless specifically mentioned as included) are separate charges.
  • Optional Activities: Massages, hot air balloon rides, night game drives, and visits to the Maasai Village have additional costs (priced separately, e.g., Maasai Village visit: $30 USD per person, Balloon Safari in Amboseli: $450 USD per person, Night game drives vary depending on lodge or camp rates).

NB: Tipping: It is generally recommended to tip your guide 10 u.s per person per day 

Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi / Masai Mara

Your Maasai Mara adventure starts bright and early with a convenient pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. Buckle up for a scenic 5-hour drive towards the reserve. Along the way, marvel at the dramatic landscape of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the Maasai people in the town of Narok. To maximize your game viewing time upon arrival, a delicious packed lunch will be provided. Upon reaching the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the afternoon comes alive with your first thrilling game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five – lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffaloes – alongside a dazzling array of other wildlife like cheetahs, zebras, impalas, topis, and giraffes. As the sun sets, you’ll be whisked away to your comfortable accommodation (Ashnil Mara Camp, Sarova Mara Game Camp, or Mara Serena Safari Lodge) for a delicious dinner and a relaxing overnight stay, ready to explore further adventures tomorrow.

Day 2Masai Mara – Nairobi

Rise and shine for an early morning game drive (6:00 am – 8:30 am) as the Maasai Mara awakens. Witness the predator-prey drama unfold in the golden light before a hearty breakfast. Check out of your accommodation, but the adventure continues! A packed lunch fuels your search for the park’s captivating residents – from the vast herds of wildebeest during migration (July-September) to zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, and even elusive black rhinos. Lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes might also join the spectacle. After a final game drive until lunchtime (1:30 pm), bid farewell to the park and embark on a scenic return journey to Nairobi. Arrive in the evening (around 6:00 pm) for a comfortable drop-off at your hotel or the airport, concluding your unforgettable Maasai Mara adventure.
