Small, friendly company, brilliant safari KET Safaris may be small, but they're very efficient and well-organised. It was quite expensive - but brilliant! We took their 6-day, 5-night safari to Maasai Mara, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. The guides were excellent and knowledgeable - with their help, we tallied 79 different species of animals and birds, including all of the big five at close range (OK, the one rhino was a bit far away) except leopards. Lots of hippos wallowing, giraffes grazing. In the Maasai Mara, we dramatically saw a hyena single-handedly catch a topi (an antelope three times its size), bring it down, and share it with its colleagues - not pleasant, but compulsive viewing - after 15mins, it was left to the vultures. We also visited a Maasai village, talked to the inhabitants and saw their homes and understood about their herding way of life. This was very worthwhile. In contrast, the Serengeti seemed very peaceful. At one point, we saw zebra and wildebeest covering the Serengeti as far as the eye could see. The hotel accommodation KET selected was fantastic (Ashnil Camp is only a camp in the sense that walls of our lodge were made of canvas - in every other respect they'd count as a five-star hotel - with a hippo pool below! The two Serena hotels in Tanzania were quirky, but luxurious, with great views.) A once-in-a-lifetime experience we will be reminiscing about for a long time!

Wonderful Private Safari Experience We were two couples and we arranged for a private 18 day safari experience in Kenya and Tanzania with KETS. Paul took care of all the arrangements--camps/lodges, driver-guides/vehicles, tours, internal flights--at a very reasonable cost. He was very communicative and sought to ensure our satisfaction. Our driver-guides--Benjamin in Kenya and Alfa in Tanzania--were both great. There were a couple of small bumps with the arrangements, but both were sorted out by Paul with minor inconvenience. In sum, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend KETS to anyone looking for a safari experience in East Africa!

Good safari in Tzavo East and Tzavo West We had two good days and saw a lot of animals. The guide was good and took good care of us. The hotel chosen was good as well as the dinner and breakfast. The lunch could have been a bit better.

Our Seventh Safari with KETS We always use KETS when visiting our Sheldrick elephant orphans. KETS provides reliable service to Umani, Ithumba, and Voi. As we need to bring our own food, the driver helps us shop at the Emali food stalls. Paul Mwendwa, KETS owner, is a trustworthy and honorable gentleman. He always provides a competitive quote. We highly recommend KETS, especially for Sheldrick patrons.

A wonderful experience for all My Kenyan Safari journey was a revelation, a shift in perspective I never expected. While I had already visited South Africa several times before my first visit to Kenya, safaris never held a particular allure for me. I had been conditioned to believe safaris weren't “our kind” of adventure. But Kenya changed everything for me. Masai Mara welcomed me with open arms from its beautiful mesmerizing gravity-defying people, showcasing their famous Adumu ceremony, an iconic traditional jumping dance symbolizing strength and unity, intricately woven into the Maasai warrior's rite of passage, to its breathtaking African landscape, where majestic wildlife roamed freely. It's a place that not only deserves to be witnessed by all members of the African diaspora but also appreciated as a reclamation of our ancestral birthrights. The service, accommodations, and sheer abundance of wildlife up close exceeded my wildest expectations, redefining my understanding of luxury. Everything is so good! Paul is so good! Wonderful journey with KETS! We six people are all satisfied with the whole arrangement! The total cost is reasonable and the experience is wonderful! Paul, our sincere friend, is so knowledgeable and friendly. He is definitely an expert on animals and Kenya. Love him! Everything is so good! Highly recommend to everyone! Sheldrick, Tsavo and Amboseli I booked my 12 day Kenya trip a long time in advance and Paul responded to all my emails very quickly and we also had a What's App video call so I was reassured that all was in order. The main reason for my trip was to visit two Sheldrick Wildlife Trust reintegration units. I then left the rest of the trip to Paul to organise which was fantastic. My driver, Benjamin, was very good. He was knowledgeable and I also felt safe with him as a solo traveller. I spent time at Umani Springs and Voi SWT reintegration units, Tsavo East and West and Amboseli. The lodges were great and I had two safari drives daily where I saw the big 5 and so much more. Thank you Paul and Benjamin, I'll be back for sure. Asante sana.

The BEST experience of our dream vacation and great memories to cherish. We did 8 Days 7 Nights Maasai Mara / Serengeti /Ngoro Ngoro /Amboseli /Nairobi Safari Package. It was our dream vacation and the owner Paul Mwendwa, ensured we got the best experience. He responds quickly to inquiries and was very patient with all our questions and requests. All communication before, during and after was prompt. We were able to customize our itinerary exactly how we wanted it. People at KETS were very professional and right from pick up to drop off we were taken care of in a 5 Star manner and environment. Paul provided us with the BEST accommodation at each of our locations so we could actually feel, and explore variety at each of the parks. Excellent ambience, food and experience. Most importantly we had so many incredible encounters with the animals. They had the eyes of a hawk, able to see things that we would never have seen without them pointing out to us. Totally worth every minute of the game drives. All our guides Patrick, Philip (for Balloon Safari) and Bakari were amazing and safe driving skills especially since most of the time we were on the road between Kenya and Tanzania. Our Tanzania driver/guide Bakari Basha was an absolute pleasure to hang out with all day, he made sure the only thing we had to worry about was having a good time.
