Day 1Mombasa – Tsavo East

Embark on your thrilling adventure with a morning pick-up from your Mombasa hotel or airport. Settle in for a scenic drive (approximately 4 hours) towards Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest protected area and home to a vast array of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. Upon arrival, embark on a captivating game drive before checking into your lodge, Ashnil Aruba Lodge. After lunch and a chance to relax, another exciting game drive awaits within the park in the afternoon. As day turns to dusk, enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2Tsavo East – Amboseli

Fueled by an early morning breakfast, you’ll check out of your lodge in Tsavo East. The adventure continues as you depart for Amboseli National Park, enjoying a game drive along the way (approximately 5 hours). Nestled at the foot of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds. Upon arrival, embark on a short game drive before checking in to your chosen lodge, either Oltukai Lodge or Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch and a chance to relax, an afternoon game drive takes you to some of the best spots in Africa to view these gentle giants up close. Keep your eyes peeled for cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, lions, and a variety of birdlife. As evening approaches, return to your lodge for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

An invigorating breakfast energizes you for your departure from Amboseli National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive (approximately 5 hours) towards Lake Naivasha, with a stop to take in the breathtaking Great Rift Valley scenery along the way. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch and check in to your chosen lodge, either Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or Sawela Lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a captivating game drive, followed by a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, a unique park that allows for thrilling activities like walking safaris, hikes, bike rides, rock climbing, and wildlife photography. You may even get a glimpse of a geothermal power plant! As day ends, return to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 4Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara

Fuel up with an early morning breakfast before departing Lake Naivasha. The journey continues with a scenic drive (approximately 5 hours) towards the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch and check in to your chosen accommodation, either Ashnil Mara Camp, Sarova Mara Game Camp, or Mara Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch and a chance to relax, an afternoon game drive takes you into the heart of the park, where you might encounter lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and a plethora of other wildlife. As day draws to a close, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 5Maasai Mara

An early morning adrenaline rush! Embark on a thrilling game drive before returning to your camp for breakfast. Fueled and ready to explore, dedicate this entire day to uncovering the wonders of the Masai Mara. A packed lunch will keep you energized throughout your exciting adventure as you search for the famed Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes. The park is renowned for its lion population, which has grown accustomed to visitors, making them easier to spot. Keep your eyes peeled for a vast array of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, impalas, Thomson’s gazelles, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and more. The Mara River teems with hippos and crocodiles, with the crocs particularly active during the wildebeest migration (July to September) when they feast on these crossing herds. Don’t forget to look up! The skies come alive with a diverse range of birdlife, including eagles, ostriches, storks, vultures, and over 50 different birds of prey. As the sun sets, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 6Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your Masai Mara camp before checking out. Your journey concludes with a scenic drive back to Nairobi (approximately 5 hours), departing at 10:00 am. Arrive in Nairobi in time for a celebratory lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. Afterward, relax as you’re conveniently dropped off at your chosen Nairobi hotel or the airport at around 3:00 pm, marking the perfect end to your unforgettable Kenyan safari adventure.
